Manual Handling, it would be futile to keep that resource to purely a local resource, so I am pleased to offer my services to undertake
Basic Manual Handling training for your organisation. This is a
legal safety requirement in accordance with Health and
Safety Executive guidelines as detailed here: The legal information (please click for information) So with that in mind, I can offer a training course at your premises. An ideal size group is between 6 and 12 but larger or smaller groups can be accommodated. The course can either be run in a very basic form over 2½ hours, or in a full format over 6 hours (including refreshment/lunch breaks). The course includes essential legal and background information and incorporates practical activities and use of multimedia to ensure the course is as engaging as possible. Following the course, each delegate is issued with an information pack and a certificate, and management are issued a follow up document identifying any potential problems that have arisen during the teaching/discussion.
